For our steadfast client DBC we were assigned to redesign their existing canteen and bring a touch more hospitality and warmth to the space. We introduced colourful kitchen elements, a small cosy lounge area and modern furniture to compliment the stunning artworks and the classic chairs that were all painted and reused. At the same time we kept the walls and curtains neutral to bring our the clean lines in the architecture. The winning detail is the slanted mirror in the ceiling that opens up the room and reflects the light from the outside patio area.
