Presenting his first city restaurant, we worked with Adam Aamann on Aamanns 1921. A complex, heritage listed site comprising of an existing bunker and bomb shelter. Using the 'pure' concept of a church and its blank slate; we consciously chose to pay homage to the food, letting it feature as the 'God' of the space. To retain this concept we designed custom benches, tables and pendant lights.
